Anotherhighlightofmyfirstsemesterinsecondgradewasmakingnewfriends.Istartedthenewschoolyearnervous,butonceIstartedgettingtoknowmyclassmates,Ifeltmuchmorerelaxed.Wehadalotoftimetoplaytogetherduringrecess,andwewouldalsoworkongroupprojectstogether.OneofmynewfriendsisSamantha,whositsnexttomeinclass.Welovetodoourworktogetherandhelpeachotherwhenwedon'tunderstandsomething.Ilearnedthatitisessentialtohavefriendstosupportandencourageyou.

Finally,Ialwayslookedforwardtoparticipatinginthefunactivitiesthatwereplannedforusinschool.Inourschool,wehavedifferentfundayssuchassportsday,culturalday,anddress-upday.Ihadthemostfunonsportsdaywhereweplayedgamessuchastugofwar,sackrace,andrelayrace.Itwasfunbeingpartofateamandcheeringforeachother.Duringculturalday,welearnedaboutdifferenttraditionsandculturesandevengottotastesometraditionalfood.Ondress-upday,wegottoshowoffourcreativitybydressingupasourfavoritecharacters.
