Reflection on the Teaching Experience of High School English

Introduction

Over the past year, I have been teaching high school English to a group of energetic and inquisitive students. As an English teacher, it is always challenging for me to find innovative and effective ways to engage students in the learning process. This reflection will focus on my teaching strategies, the strengths and weaknesses of my teaching practice, and how I plan to improve in the future.

Teaching Strategies

One of my key teaching strategies is to create a dynamic classroom environment that encourages students to participate and interact with one another. I often incorporate group tasks and collaborative learning activities that challenge students to communicate with one another and develop problem-solving skills. Another important strategy is to use authentic material, such as newspaper articles and films, to provide real-life scenarios and cultural contexts for students to understand and apply the English language. Strengths and Weaknesses
