Invitation to Attend the International Conference on Innovation and Development

Introduction:

We are delighted to invite you to the International Conference on Innovation and Development, which will be held on October 1-3, 2021. This conference aims to bring together researchers, entrepreneurs, and policy-makers from different parts of the world to discuss the most recent developments and challenges in innovation and development. The conference is organized by the Department of Innovation and Development at the University of California, Los Angeles, and will take place both in person and virtually.

Conference Themes:

The conference will cover a wide range of topics related to innovation and development, including but not limited to:

• Innovation strategies for sustainable development;
• Innovative business models in the digital economy;
• Government policies to support innovation;
• Technology transfer and entrepreneurship;
• Intellectual property protection and innovation;
• Investment and financing for innovation and development;
• Globalization, innovation and development;
• Education and innovation;
• Social innovation and development;

Paper Submission:

We invite original research papers that address the conference themes. The papers should not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere. The length of the paper should not exceed 10,000 words, including references and appendices. All papers will be reviewed by a double-blind peer review process. Selected papers will be considered for publication in reputable international journals. The deadline for paper submission is May 30, 2021.

Registration:

The conference registration fee is $350 for faculty and $150 for students. This fee includes access to all conference sessions, conference materials, coffee breaks, and lunch. Registration will open on June 1, 2021. The deadline for early-bird registration is August 1, 2021. Late registration will be available until September 15, 2021, with an additional fee of $50.
